Flema to argentyński zespół punkrockowy, któremu udało się odnaleźć swój niepowtarzalny styl m.in. w Ameryce Południowej. Ostatnia konfiguracja zespołu to: Ricky Espinosa (wokal i gitara), Fernando Rossi (bas), Luis Garibaldo (gitara) i Pepe Carvallo (perkusja). Ich piosenki zwykle dotyczą samotności, alkoholu i narkotyków, przyjaciół, kobiet, polityki i skarg na trudne rzeczy w życiu. Lider zespołu, Ricardo Espinosa (znany również jako Ricky) był bardzo kontrowersyjną i ukochaną postacią oraz rdzeniem i duchem Flemy. Zawsze pijany, zawsze na kokainie, zawsze w tarapatach, często zespół nie mógł zagrać w wyznaczonym terminie, ponieważ Espinosa i inni członkowie zespołu byli zatrzymywani na lokalnym komisariacie policji. Espinosa zginął w 2002 roku wypadając z piątego piętra - do dziś nie wiadomo, czy był to nieszczęśliwy wypadek, czy samobójcza próba. Wstawka zawiera najnowsze wydawnictwo studyjne zespołu.

Wake of the Flood to szósty album studyjny rockowego zespołu Grateful Dead. Wydany 15 października 1973 roku, był to pierwszy album wydany przez własną wytwórnię Grateful Dead Records. Grateful Dead to amerykański zespół rockowy założona w 1965 w San Francisco. Twórczość Grateful Dead przez wielu bywa uważana za najbardziej reprezentatywny akt muzyczny młodzieży hippisowskiej, a później także subkultury ridersów. Założyciel i frontman grupy, Jerry Garcia, został ponadto uznany za ojca chrzestnego improwizowanego gatunku zwanego jam rockiem oraz jednego z wybitnych przedstawicieli ówczesnej muzyki psychodelicznej. Zdaniem Lenny’ego Kaye’a, eksperymenty tworzone przez Grateful Dead „odkrywały obszary, o których istnieniu większość zespołów nie miało pojęcia”. Z czasem muzycy odeszli od wymagającej, awangardowej w stylu twórczości, aby zwrócić się w stronę łagodnego folk rocka wskrzeszającego najstarszą, rdzenną muzykę Ameryki.
